Ganesh Chaturthi - how to celebrate vinayaka or Ganesh chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi (गणेश चतुर्थी)- the festival of Lord Ganesha son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi  is the purpose of behind the birth of Ganesha falls on chaturthi in the Hindu calender month of bhadrapada generally mid of August to mid September. Ganesha, the Hindu lord of wisdom and bring good fortune. The festival celebrate last 10 days. During these days people do dance, concerts, sings hymn and perform worship (aarti) in the temples or home.

To celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi, firstly clean and wash your home and paint the whitewashing (generally) home or room where the Lord Ganesha will place. Generally all preparation starts before ten days of Ganesha Chaturthi. These are the final days to prepare and celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. On the Ganesh chaturthi day place the clay idol of lord Ganesha on to the wooden surface. Bring all necessary  provisionment
according to Pandit and place them in front of Lord Ganesha.  Flame the thurification (dhoop or agarvati) Break the coconut in front of Ganesh. Chant traditional mantras, hymn and perform aarti  in front of idol. Offer all necessary provisionment including laddu (modak) and flowers. May Lord Ganesha bring good  fortune to all.
